Dr. Elizabeth Kain was raised in Kennebunk, Maine. She attended high school at Cheverus in Portland then went on to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Dr. Kain then moved to Boston to work as a mental health counselor. After working for a few years, she made the decision to change career paths and apply for dental school.

 

Dr. Kain graduated from the UConn School of Dental Medicine with a DMD degree. To further her education and clinical skills, she completed a General Practice Residency program at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey, prior to starting in private practice. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association and Greater Portland Dental Society.

 

Dr. Kain is excited to be back in Maine, where her family still resides. She loves all outdoor activities including skiing, hiking and fishing. She also enjoys baking and has recently taken up the pottery wheel.
